Commands Arguments Meaning
Before you dive into setting up your first automated task, it is highly crucial to understand the basic terminology and command structures used within the bot and the web dashboard. Grasping these concepts will ensure that you never make a mistake while configuring your routing rules.
When you are interacting with our bot or reading through our advanced settings, you will frequently encounter specific technical terms. Below is a detailed breakdown of what each argument means.
- Phone_Number: This argument is used to specify which connected account you want to use the command on. Since our system allows you to manage multiple sessions, defining the correct phone number ensures the bot operates on the right account.
- Action: Used to specify exactly what you want to do with the command. Supported actions include Add, Remove, Start, Stop, Restart and show list task. For example, selecting 'Stop' will pause the forwarding engine for that specific task.
- SOURCE_CHAT_ID: This represents the exact chat you want to copy messages FROM. A source is where the original content is published. The source can be a user (direct message), a bot, a public channel, a private group, or a supergroup.
- TARGET_CHAT_ID: This represents the destination chat where you want to forward messages TO. This is where your audience resides. Just like the source, the target can be a user, bot, channel, group, or supergroup. (Note: You must have permission to send messages in the target chat).
- Label: A custom, human-readable name that you provide to easily identify and manage your forward actions. Instead of memorizing numbers like
-100123456, you can label it "VIP Crypto Signals" or "News Broadcast".
Why is understanding this important?
When you encounter troubleshooting issues later, knowing the difference between a Source and a Target will save you hours of confusion. The engine strictly listens to the SOURCE_CHAT_ID and executes filters before pushing the payload to the TARGET_CHAT_ID.
How to connect BOT?
To start cloning channels and filtering messages, you must first bind your Telegram account to our system. This process is highly secure and utilizes Telegram's official API. Quickly connect your Telegram account, activate your bot, and unlock days of full-featured automation — absolutely no coding required.
Please read through the steps carefully. Security is paramount, and following these instructions ensures your account remains safe while granting the bot the access it needs to forward your messages.
Step 1: Launch the App or Web Version
After downloading the AutoForward Messages Telegram mobile app (from the Play Store or App Store) or opening our Web Portal, launch the application to begin the authentication sequence.
Step 2: Enter Your Phone Number & Verify Code
The first screen will ask for your contact details. Do not skip the country code!
- Choose your country code from the dropdown menu (e.g., +1 for US, +91 for India, +44 for UK).
- Enter your active Telegram phone number.
- Tap the Next or Continue button to proceed.
At this moment, our backend securely requests an authentication token from Telegram's headquarters. A login verification code will be sent directly to your Telegram app. (Note: Telegram rarely sends SMS codes anymore; you must check the Telegram app on your phone or PC).
Step 3: Enter the Verification Code Safely
Open your Telegram app. You will see a new message from the official "Telegram" service account (the one with the blue verified tick). Open the chat, and it will contain a 5-digit login code.
Enter the exact code displayed in your app to complete the login. Don't worry — this process is 100% safe. Your phone number and login session are securely handled via Telegram's official API and are never exposed to third parties.
Step 4: Enter Your Two-Step Verification Password (If Required)
We highly recommend that all users enable Two-Step Verification (2FA) on their Telegram accounts. If your Telegram account has Two-Step Verification enabled, the system will detect it automatically.
You will be prompted to enter your Cloud Password. This is the custom password you created, not the 5-digit code. Simply enter your password into the input field and click Verify Pass. Our system hashes this input securely to complete the login sequence.
Step 5: Connection Successful!
Congratulations! You've successfully connected your account to AutoForward Messages Telegram. The backend has securely generated your session string, meaning the bot is now authorized to act on your behalf.
You now have access to all features with a free trial to explore and experience the full power of the system. Welcome aboard, and enjoy your automation journey!

How To Create Task Auto Forward?
Creating a task is the core functionality of AutoForward Messages. A "Task" tells the bot exactly where to listen for new messages (the Source) and where to send them (the Target). Our intuitive interface allows you to set up a task in under 60 seconds without any complex configuration.
Step 1: Access the Forwarding List
Open the Auto Forward Telegram Messages application (Web or Mobile). From the main menu, navigate to the Forwarding List screen. This is your command center for all active and inactive routes.
Locate and click the Create Task + button to initialize the setup wizard. Proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Choose the Source for Forwarding
After clicking "Create Task +", you will be redirected to the Select Source Forward screen. To make finding your chat easier, we provide five distinct filtering options at the top of the screen:
- All : Displays every single available message source connected to your account.
- Channel : Filters the list to only show Telegram Channels (Broadcasts).
- Group : Selects messages only from groups and supergroups you are a part of.
- User : Filters individual direct messages (DMs) from specific users.
- Bot : Displays messages coming from other Telegram bots.
Scroll through the list or use the Search Bar to find your desired source. Tap on it and click Next Step.
Step 3: Choose Your Target Destination
On the Select Target Forward screen, you will define where the intercepted messages should be delivered. Selecting the correct target is crucial to ensure your messages reach the right audience.
The filter options (All, Channel, Group, User, Bot) are also available here. Select your destination and tap the Next Step button to proceed to the final configuration.
Step 4: Configure Forwarding Task Details
Now, you need to give your task a unique identity. This helps you manage multiple tasks later without confusion.
- Use only Latin letters ('a' to 'z') and numbers ('0' to '9').
- Special characters (like @, #, !, etc.) are strictly not allowed.
- Use underscores (
_) instead of spaces to separate words (e.g.,Crypto_Signals_VIP).
Once you have entered a valid label, tap the Create Task + button to finalize the process.
Final: Achieved Results
Congratulations! Your auto-forward task is now live and activated. Messages from the source will now be automatically routed to your selected target based on your settings. You can view, edit, pause, or delete this task anytime from the Forwarding List screen.
Setup Topics for a Forwarding Task
Telegram Groups with the "Topics" (Forum) feature enabled can be tricky to manage. If you are forwarding messages into a massive supergroup, you want to ensure the messages land in the correct discussion thread. This guide explains how to choose topics for a forwarding task and how to use the powerful Topic Sync feature.
What is Topic Setup?
Topic setup gives you granular control over which specific topics (threads) receive forwarded messages. Instead of dumping everything into the "General" chat, you can organize your content beautifully.
- Source topics: Defines which specific topics the bot should read messages from.
- Target topics: Defines which specific topics the bot should send messages to.
Enable Topic Sync (Automatic Alignment)
Topic Sync is an advanced feature that automatically keeps topics aligned between your source and target groups in real-time.
- New source topics are automatically created in the target group by the bot.
- Renamed source topics are instantly updated in the target group.
- Existing topics can be mapped automatically using the "Copy existing topic structure" feature.
Set Up Topics Manually (Manual Mapping)
If you do not want to use Auto-Sync, you can manually map where messages should go. Manual mapping is incredibly useful when a specific source topic should be forwarded to a completely different target topic, or when you only want to adjust individual mappings.
- Open your forwarding task from the Dashboard.
- Tap on Setup Forward Topics.
- Expand the Manual mapping topic section.
- In a mapping row, tap Add Source Topics and select one or more topics.
- Tap Add Target Topics and select the destination.
- Tap Save to lock in your routing rules.
What is Addons?
While AutoForwarder comes with incredibly powerful default features, some advanced users require specialized tools for their unique workflows. Addons are powerful extensions that enhance your AutoForward bot's capabilities far beyond the standard features.
Instead of forcing you into a highly expensive, rigid subscription upgrade, AutoForwarder uses an ultra-flexible credit-based payment system. This lets you unlock ONLY the specific features you need, exactly when you need them.
What Makes Addons Different?
- Pay-as-you-go: You buy credits and spend them on specific functionalities. No wasted money.
- No subscription needed: Perfect for users who only need advanced tools for a short campaign or specific tasks.
- Time-limited: Each addon works for a set duration (e.g., 30 days, 90 days, or 1 year).
- Mix and match: Activate multiple addons simultaneously based on your exact workflow requirements.
- Gift-able: You can easily share your purchased addon access with other users in your team.
Credits are the universal currency used to purchase addons. Think of them like arcade tokens you exchange for premium tools. Credits never expire once purchased. You make a one-time payment for a credit package, and you can use those credits to unlock any available addon at any time.
How To Buy Credits
- Navigate to the My Addons screen from the main menu.
- Tap on the Credits Balance card at the top of the screen.
- Select a credit package that fits your budget and needs.
- Complete the secure purchase.
Smart Image Crop Addon
When curating and forwarding images from other competitor channels, you often encounter messy visuals that ruin your brand's professionalism. The Smart Image Crop addon is a professional-grade tool designed to automatically sanitize your incoming media.
What Problem Does it Solve?
When forwarding images, you frequently encounter:
- Channel watermarks plastered at the top or bottom of images.
- Promotional banners advertising the source channel.
- Unwanted borders that make images look unprofessional.
- Screenshots with UI elements like phone status bars or navigation menus.
Smart Image Crop removes these annoyances automatically before the image ever reaches your audience.
Key Benefits
- Automatic processing: Absolutely zero manual image editing required. It happens on the fly.
- Precise control: Set the exact pixel count or percentage values to slice off each edge.
- Task-specific: Configure different crop settings for every single active forwarding task.
- Non-destructive: Original images remain completely unchanged in the source channel.
- Preserve quality: No extra compression or quality loss happens during the cropping process.
1. Pixels Mode: Removes an exact number of pixels from each edge. Best used when you want to cut out unwanted elements of a known size (e.g., a "50-pixel watermark"). Source images must be mostly the same size for this to look consistent.
2. Percent Mode: Removes a percentage of the image. Best used when image sizes vary wildly. For example, setting Top=10% will remove the top 10% of the height, whether the image is 500px or 4000px tall.
Real-Time Preview
The premium feature helps you visualize your crops before activating them. Simply tap the Preview button, view a sample image with a red overlay showing exactly the crop areas, adjust your values, and watch the updates happen instantly.
Auto Clone Button Addon
Telegram natively strips away inline buttons when a message is forwarded normally. The Auto Clone Button addon automatically copies inline buttons from source messages to your forwarded messages, preserving your call-to-action (CTA) buttons, purchase links, and interactive elements.
What Problem Does it Solve?
- Buttons disappear when forwarding manually or using basic bots.
- CTAs are lost, meaning your audience cannot click through to products or services.
- Affiliate links don't transfer, causing you to lose tracking and valuable commissions.
- Manual button creation is tedious, slow, and highly error-prone.
Operating Modes
Auto Clone Button has two operating modes. Choose based on your specific needs:
What it does: Clones absolutely every button attached to the source message without prejudice.
Best for: Users who just want to preserve original buttons without complex setups. It is the easiest to set up (takes 5 seconds) and requires zero configuration. Just toggle it ON.
What it does: Clones ONLY the buttons that match your specific URL filtering rules (Whitelist / Blacklist).
Best for: Affiliate marketers who need specific links, or content curators who want to filter out competitor spam links while keeping the useful buttons intact. Requires manual configuration of URL patterns.
This feature allows you to replace parts of button URLs with your own. It is an absolute game-changer for affiliate marketers.
Example:
Original button goes to: https://exchange.com/trade/BTC-USDT
Your bot replaces it with: https://exchange.com/trade/BTC-USDT?ref=YOUR_AFFILIATE_ID
Now, every time your channel forwards a trade signal, the button earns YOU the commission!
AlphaGardeners Extract Addon
In the fast-paced world of cryptocurrency trading and token launches (especially on DEX platforms), speed is everything. When a premium signal channel posts a token launch using an AlphaGardeners link, manually opening the link, finding the contract address, copying it, and pasting it to your trading bot can take 10 to 30 seconds. In the crypto market, that delay can cost you a massive profit multiplier.
The AlphaGardeners Extract addon is a specialized, enterprise-grade tool built specifically for crypto communities, signal aggregators, and automated traders.
What Does It Do?
This addon automatically scans incoming messages for alphagardeners.xyz URLs. Instead of just forwarding the raw link to your audience, our backend engine visits the link in the background, extracts the core Cryptocurrency Contract Address, and appends it directly to your forwarded message in real-time.
Key Benefits for Crypto Admins
- Zero Manual Copy/Paste: The extraction happens in milliseconds. Your subscribers (and their trading bots) get the direct contract address instantly.
- Format Customization: You have full control over the output. Choose to forward only the raw contract address (Contract Only Mode) or generate the full DEXScreener tracking URL (Full DEX URL Mode).
- Seamless Trading Integration: This feature is absolutely perfect for users who utilize auto-trading bots (like Maestro, Banana Gun, or Unibot) that require raw contract addresses to trigger instant, automated buys.
- Navigate to your Task Settings on the AutoForwarder Dashboard.
- Enable the Crypto Filter (This must be turned ON for the extraction engine to analyze the links).
- Purchase and activate the AlphaGardeners Extract addon from the Addons menu.
- Set your Timeout Limit (usually recommended between 5 to 10 seconds). This dictates how long the bot should wait for the AlphaGardeners page to load before timing out.
- Choose your desired Extract Mode (Contract Only vs. Full URL).
- Save your settings. Now, any message containing that specific URL structure will be intercepted and enriched with the contract data automatically!
Replace Content & Links
If you are running a Deals, Loot, Dropshipping, or Crypto channel, your primary source of income is likely affiliate marketing. However, when you auto-forward deals from competitor channels, you are inadvertently forwarding their affiliate links, making them money instead of yourself.
The Replace Content feature acts as a real-time, automated "Find and Replace" engine for your Telegram empire. It ensures you never lose a commission again.
Core Capabilities
With the Replace feature, you can instruct the bot to scan every incoming message for specific words, usernames, or URLs and instantly swap them out with your own text before the message hits your target channel.
- Affiliate Link Replacement:
The Rule: Replace amazon.com/ref=THEIR_ID → amazon.com/ref=YOUR_ID
The Result: You steal the commission seamlessly without manual editing. - Competitor Username Erasure:
The Rule: Replace @CompetitorChannel → @MyVIPChannel
The Result: Your forwarded posts look 100% original, white-labeled, and branded specifically to your community. - Domain Redirection:
The Rule: Replace oldwebsite.com → newwebsite.com
The Result: Automatically update broken, expired, or outdated links from source channels to redirect traffic where you want it. - Removing Unwanted Text:
The Rule: Replace Click here to buy VIP → [Leave Blank]
The Result: Promotional text, spam, and competitor advertisements are completely deleted from the forwarded message.
Our text modification engine supports advanced pattern matching. You don't need to match the entire URL; you can match just the tracking parameters. The system processes replacements in the exact order you list them, allowing you to build complex, multi-layered text modification rules that run on autopilot.
Content Filtering: Blacklist & Whitelist
Maintaining the quality of your Telegram channel is the single most important factor in retaining loyal subscribers. If a source channel suddenly starts posting spam, betting ads, or irrelevant off-topic content, an unprotected auto-forwarding bot will dump that junk directly to your audience.
Our Blacklist and Whitelist modules give you absolute, granular control over what passes through your automation funnel, acting as an automated moderation team.
The Blacklist (Block Unwanted Spam)
The Blacklist acts as an impenetrable shield for your community. You can input a comma-separated list of keywords, URLs, or phrases.
- How it works: Before a message is forwarded, the engine scans the text. If it detects any word from your Blacklist, the message is instantly dropped and deleted from the queue. It will never reach your target.
- Common Blacklist Words: Add terms like promo, sponsored, betting, join my VIP, cross-promo, or specific competitor links to keep your feed pristine.
The Whitelist (Strict Approval System)
The Whitelist is the exact opposite of the Blacklist. It acts as a strict VIP bouncer for your channel's content.
- How it works: If you configure a Whitelist, the bot will block everything by default. It will ONLY forward a message if it contains at least one of your Whitelisted keywords.
- Best Used For: Niche signal channels and news aggregators. For example, if you only want to forward Bitcoin news from a general crypto channel, you can whitelist the words Bitcoin, BTC, and Bullrun. Any message about Ethereum or Altcoins will be completely ignored.
For enterprise-level channel managers, you can combine these filters to create a foolproof routing system. The engine processes filters in a strict hierarchy:
- It checks the Whitelist first (Does the message contain the required topic?).
- It checks the Blacklist second (Does it contain the required topic, but unfortunately also include a spam link?).
- If the message passes both security checks, it is approved, processed through the Text Replacers to fix links, and finally published beautifully to your target channel.
